Can You Pre Order The Meta Quest 3?

With the recent announcement of the Meta Quest 3, we’re delving into if you can pre-order the Meta Quest 3 headset.

Meta unveiled the Quest 3 on June 1st, demonstrating their rapid progress in the VR industry. The Meta Quest 3 is designed to be a hybrid of augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR), seamlessly integrating the physical and virtual worlds.

The headset is reported to be up to 40% slimmer than its predecessor, which adds to its appeal. Other notable features include a faster processor and improved image resolution.

Currently, Meta has not started any pre-order pages for the Quest 3. However, they offer the option to sign up for updates on their website. This could be a strategic move if you’re eager to be among the first to receive any Quest 3 updates.

Watching the launch of the Quest Pro, there’s a high likelihood of a pre-order period as we approach the fall release date. In the meantime, you can explore potential retailers so you know where to buy the Quest 3 to keep yourself engaged.

When can you pre-order Meta Quest 3?

Given the recent advancements in virtual and augmented reality, we anticipate the Quest 3 to be quite popular upon release. So, the question arises – when can you pre-order the Meta Quest 3?

As of now, Meta has not provided any additional information regarding when the Meta Quest 3 might be available for pre-order. However, if we were to speculate, the pre-order period could potentially start from September 27th, coinciding with Meta’s Connect event. Last year’s Connect event, held in October, revealed the final details for the Quest Pro before pre-orders were initiated, making this a plausible date.

Meta has disclosed that the starting price for the 128GB version of the Quest 3 will be $499. Compared to their Pro version and the rumored price of Apple’s VR headset, this price appears relatively affordable. It’s also worth noting that the price of the Quest 2 will be reduced to just $299 starting from June 4th, offering a savings of $100.

We invite you to revisit us soon as we continue to discuss the latest news and announcements surrounding the Quest 3.
